🌿 Volunteer Duties — Creana Studio
A concise checklist for moderators and helpers
Atmosphere and Order
- Keep the studio clean and tidy before, during, and after sessions.
- Take care of flowers and help maintain a calm and welcoming atmosphere.
- Prepare basic materials (paper, paints, brushes, water, cloths, etc.).
Welcoming Guests
- Greet visitors and explain the idea and rules of the studio.
- Help newcomers find what they need and feel comfortable.
- Ensure silence and respectful behavior in the space.
Session Support
- Assist participants only when necessary — without interfering with their creative process.
- Keep order in the materials area and monitor safe use of tools.
- Remind gently about studio rules if someone disturbs the atmosphere.
Organization and Events
- Help clean up and arrange materials after sessions.
- Support poster preparation, decorations, and small exhibitions.
- Assist during language evenings or community meetings.
Social Activity
- Take photo or video materials only with participants’ permission.
- Submit materials for review and approval by senior staff.
- After approval — post them on Creana’s social platforms.
- Help share information about upcoming events and activities.

In this space, children and adults of all ages received their own place for painting — without instruction, judgment, or comparison.
The project is inspired by the ideas of Arno Stern — an educator and researcher born in Kassel, who created the Closlieu studio in Paris. We continue this tradition in our own way: we have taken from it the essence — the idea of free creativity — and continue it in an open form, rhythm, and atmosphere.
